PRIVACY POLICY FOR DANCUTTER A/S

GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION (GDPR)

GDPR is a European Union law intended to strengthen and unify data protection rules and rights for the benefit of EU citizens. GDPR applies to EU organizations and to non-EU organizations (of any size) that provide goods and services to the EU or utilize tracking technologies (such as cookies or tracking pixels) to monitor EU users’ behaviour.

This policy of processing of personal data describes how Dancutter A/S collects and processes your personal data.

This policy applies to the personal data that you provide us with in connection with buying our products and services, using our products and services or personal data that we collect and receive via our webpage www.dancutter.com and e-mail.

Dancutter A/S is the data controller of your personal data. If you need to contact Dancutter, find our contact information in section 8.

 

2. Which personal data do we collect, for which purposes and the legal ground for the processing both online and in relation to purchases and sales.

If you visit our webpage we use cookies on our webpage to optimize your use of the site as described in our cookie policy on dancutter.com. We automatically collect information about you and your use of the webpage when you visit our webpage. This can be information about your IP address, the type of browser that you use, the pages that you visit, which links you activate, and how you navigate and use the webpage in general.

The purpose is to optimise the user experience and the functions of our webpage, to register how much time visitors spend on our webpage, and also to carry out targeted marketing including retargeting via e.g. Facebook and Google. This processing of information is necessary to us, so that we can manage our interests in improving our website and to be able to show you relevant information and advertising.

If you subscribe to receive our newsletter we collect your name and e-mail. The purpose is to be able to send you our newsletter. If you choose to use our newsletter subscriptions form, the email address that you submit to us will be forwarded to Mailchimp which we use for email marketing services. We consider Mailchimp to be a third-party data processor.

If you send us a message via our website contact form we collect your name, e-mail, and phone number.

When you visit, comment on, or react to postings on our social media channels we collect your personal data. The collection of personal data differs according to the different social media channels and their user regulations.

The purpose is to be able to reach mores customers, spread the success stories of Dancutter and sell more equipment to the world.

Be aware that the different social media platforms might also collect your personal data and that Dancutter A/S does not have any control over this.

By accepting this privacy policy, you are giving your consent to Dancutter A/S CVR: 26672678, (hereafter “Dancutter”) collecting and processing personal data about you, in connection with your application for employment with Dancutter. When sending your application, your data will be available for individuals who are involved in the recruitment process, for them to evaluate and consider your data in relation to vacant positions with Dancutter.

Your data is saved on secure servers for up to 6 months, here after they will be deleted and are no longer available.

Please contact Dancutter if you wish to have your data deleted prior to this date.

The purpose of the data processing (concerning job applicants):
Dancutter processes your personal data in relation to potential employment with Dancutter. By accepting this privacy policy, your application and personal data will be saved on our website server and in our recruitment database.
Types of data which Dancutter collect and process about potential employees are: Social security number (CPR), name, gender, address, email address, phone number and level of education. When applying for a job, you are responsible for the personal data being correct and adequate. We kindly ask you not to provide personal information concerning for instance ethnicity, race, religion, or sexual orientation.

By sending a job application to Dancutter A/S you consent to the following:
• I understand that Dancutter processes the beforementioned personal data about me (see above).
• I have been made aware of the fact that I can complain about the treatment of my personal data to the Danish Protection Agency.
• I understand that accepting this privacy policy is voluntary.
• I understand that at any time I can have my data deleted by contacting Dancutter.

Dancutter contracts with people and other entities that perform certain tasks on our behalf (our “distributors”). We may need to share personal information with our distributors in order to provide products or services to you. For example, the distributors may receive personal information to the extent you share your personal information during any interaction with our customer service or via submission to social media, website, download or newsletter sign-up. Unless we tell you differently, our distributors do not have any right to use Personal Information or other information we share with them beyond what is necessary to assist us on our behalf. You hereby consent to our sharing of Personal Information with our distributors.

 

3. Sharing personal data

We only share personal data if we are obliged to do so by law or in order to deliver the services and products that we offer. Your personal data may be shared with external partners who process personal data on our behalf. We use external partners for some of our services, for technical support for our webpage and for processing and storing data in systems. A list of our data processors can be obtained by contacting Dancutter – see contact information in section 8.

These companies are data processors, and they must adhere to our procedures. Data processors must not process data for any other purpose than to fulfil their agreement with us, and all data must be treated confidentially. We have entered into written data processing agreements with all data processors who process personal data on our behalf.

 

4. Storage and deletion of personal data.

When you are in contact with or do business with Dancutter A/S we storage your personal data. This can be your e-mail address, which country you are in or other information. Dancutter A/S keeps customer data in our CRM system.

Dancutter A/S does not actively delete any customer data unless the customer asks to be deleted. The same applies if your company is no longer a Dancutter supplier. However personal data that Dancutter A/S is obligated to keep due to bookkeeping law, will not be deleted. Accounting material is stored for five years to the end of a fiscal year in accordance with the requirements in the Danish Accounting Act.

Dancutter A/S also does not delete posts on our website or on social media.

We collect your personal data (CV) when you work on student-projects with Dancutter A/S. Our lawful basis for processing your CV including personal data is our legitimate interests.

 

5. When you visit our facilities

When you visit our facilities in Viborg, we may take your photograph and use it in connection with articles or post on social media about the visit. The use of channels will depend on the image and storyline. We post articles on our website, social media channels, printed material, distributor websites, articles, and advertisements in magasines – including relevant trade magasines, either printed or digital.

We take photographs and use them in our communication and marketing to share good stories and for brand building purposes.

The lawful basis for processing images is our legitimate interests, for which we do not require your consent. Our personnel have been instructed to kindly seek your permission before taking any photos and a “no” will always be respected.

We carefully select marketing material and images to share with our distributors. We do not use photographs of people for a period longer than two years.

When we post images on different internet channels, we do not actively remove the images later.

 

6. Receivers of personal data

In the delivery process of Dancutter products or services information about your name, address, e-mail, phone number and delivery information is being passed on to relevant transport companies that are managing the transportation.

Information can be trusted to external collaborators who are processing the personal data on our behalf. For instance, we are using external collaborators when we are sending the products to you, when we are sending out newsletters by e-mail and for direct marketing. These companies are data processors and under our instruction.

The data processors are not allowed to use the information to anything else than to fulfil the contract with us.

 

7. Your rights

At Dancutter, we want to work in a transparent way and inform you of your rights with regards to data collection.

Right of access
At any time, you are entitled to request information from us, including information about the type of data that we have registered about you, which purposes it serves, categories of personal data, potential data recipients and data origins. You have the right to receive a copy of your personal data that we process. If you wish to receive such a copy, please send a written request to your contact person at Dancutter or consult the contact information in section 8. You might be asked to provide documentation to identify yourself.

Right to rectification
You have the right to have your data corrected at any time. If you notice any errors in your personal data or in the data of your company, please make sure to contact your contact person at Dancutter – or write an email to the contact email mentioned in section 8 – so that we can correct it.

Right to deletion
In some cases, you have the right to have all or some of your personal data deleted, if for example you recall your consent or if we no longer have the legal right to continue the processing. If continuous processing is necessary, for example for us to comply with legal duties or to determine, apply or defend a legal claim, we are not obligated to delete your personal data.

Right to limit processing to storing only
In some cases, you have the right to limit our processing to storing only, for example if the data that we have is incorrect.

Right to object
At any time, you have the right to object to our processing of your personal data in terms of direct marketing. Furthermore, at any time, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data which we do based on our legitimate interests for reasons that concern your personal situation.

Right to recall consent
At any time, you have the right to recall any consents that you have given us, for example in relation to newsletters or direct marketing.

Right to complain
If you have reason to believe that we are not handling your personal data in the correct way, please contact your contact person at Dancutter or consult the contact information in section 8. We will consider your case and do our best to rectify the mistake, if relevant. At any time, you may also complain to the national data protection authority about such a case.

9. Changes to the privacy policy

This is version 2 of the Privacy Policy of Dancutter A/S dated February 1, 2021.
